Who we are

Our website address is:

On Twitter, we are: @Model3DB

We have created this site as a location for you to create a profile to document your Model 3, experiences you’ve had with it, what you have done to it, or just post it in its natural form as Franz, Elon and Tesla intended.

Members can filter and search other members too based on car specs, modifications and community posts.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When members register, we collect an email address, your selected username and date of birth.   These are used to get your member account up and running and confirm you are not a bot.

Once registered, members can complete their member profile by providing the various specs on their car (motor, battery, wheels, color, etc), photos and information on modifications that have been done.  Information you choose to include in your profile is not used beyond this site. You have the ability to edit or remove information at any time, or completely delete (permanently) your member profile.

Member profile pages are visible to all registered members, so do not include personal information you are uncomfortable sharing with the community.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception, they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included for your own privacy. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
